No trip to the Nevada Desert is complete without a trip to a ghost town... Even though I've shot this one hundreds of times, it still compels me to capture it time and time again...

In Southern Nevada, one of the most famous it Rhyolite. I like to get there when the sun just comes up.

The John S Cook Bank building... site for dozens of Hollywood westerns and a few sci-fi movies too..

A short hike into the hills gives us a look down across where the town originally stood..

Very nice, Larry. You have a way of getting great colors out of the desert. thumb.gif

These are nice Larry. I've been there several times without clouds too. Was clear that day though.
