    Thanks, Pam.
I did this in my own backyard last year w/ a D300 that had a 70-200 hung off the front.

Manual, f2.8, natural light only, and processed with archaic, ACR 4.5 - It's pretty much as a SOOC as they come... I try to be as minimalist as possible, Laughing.gif!!

    ETA:
I just remembered that I had to lessen a green colour-cast from its teeth that came from reflected light from the lawn it was on. Used PS Elements 7 to select/isolate, then adjusted the greens/yellows down then brought up the brightness a wee tad.

A stunning shot of the bear, and like seeing the canines.

Thanks for the words of kind, Guys!
And I see that many of ya are very good at What you do - Kudos'.

Truth be told, this is a product shot for a client.

I haven't been a player of Dgrin for a few years (injuries/too long of a story) and I usually then posted my works in Cool Shots as there isn't a Product forum. And the mounts aren't really Wildlife, either.

I think Ivan (mod) called these works of mine, "ex wildlife".... rolleyes1.gif
Anywho,,,, my client wanted to see naive reactions to this piece of work and I applaud your participation - A HUGE THANKS TO ALL OF YA!!!

So, I'd like to know if people here would like for me to continue posting these images as the work comes in, or should I stick to the other forums?

    Regards,
    Dean.

My first preference would be to limit this forum to current wildlife as opposed to "ex wildlife," but that if you do post "ex wildlife" shots, you identify them as such at the time you post them. When I first saw the photo, I wondered briefly if the bear had interacted with a taxidermist, but dismissed the thought because I didn't think anyone would post such a photo here.

    Sorry, Pam.
    I wasn't out to offend.

I posted it as I did because I didn't want prejudice - Just honest, sought after and VALUED commentary from others that may hold knowledge of the species being documented. I feel as an artist, this is a good way to grow.

And the message is pretty clear that the Cool Shots mod/mods want it over here, as I had posted this for my past fans and it was promptly pulled.

In the future, I will title my threads as Taxidermy, if in fact that is what it is.
And I hope to further garner your thoughts on the imagery when I do.

    Cheers!
