    Revised zoom test
With my fixed lens of my S9000 I was able to shoot this series of 6 shots, including the 2 second timer for each shot, in approximately 18 to 20 seconds.

Changing lens during the shoot may have led to movement of the camera:

I've always considered "digital" zooms to be worthless and mostly marketing fluff for camera manafacturers to pad their advertisements with.

But viewing the original of your 600mm shot looks pretty usable.

Also noticed in the enlargements that those worlds fair towers are mostly rusty eyesores, aren't they. I've flown over them landing at LaGuardia many times but never paid much attention to them.

I knew, of course, that trees and plants had roots, stems, bark, branches and foliage that reached up toward the light. But I was coming to realize that the real magician was light itself.
