Had some time this weekend and decided to do some new self portraits. I usually shoot on a black background. I shot on white this time to give the picture a more of a spring feel. Comments welcome.

Very nice. I would like to see some spring though. THey are saying 4-8 inches of the white stuff tonight and tomorrow.
I have always had a problem lining up my self portraits, you did very well.

I like this, very well balanced. Plus I have a real fondness for beautiful women in hats. Self portraits are toughies and you handled this great.

hmm..I would try to a severe crop of just your face and hat filling up the entire shot with about 1/2 stop more exposure.

I like it a lot. Self portraits are so difficult. Love the look, hat, pose, and white background. As others have said, not much spring here yet, but it is nice to start thinking of. Well done!

You are a lot better looking...
You are a lot better looking in your self portrait than I ever am in mine. Good job; I like the lok!

I agree. The crop would be more compelling, and the extra exposure would fit the high key setting well.
