Did a shoot this weekend with this beautiful Dominican lady. She was a child model and her direction to me was "I'm tired of kid cute, I want adult sexy".

I think she got there.

Honestly number eight is my favorite and I just don't find her choice of wardrobe to be very flattering to her figure in the other portraits. In particular the first four and yet I find her poses to be a bit forced in the full body shots, otherwise nice job on the lighting and technicals.

I agree, the poses look forced and the wardrobe is not as flattering as it could be. Still, you did your job working with what you had. I would tell her to relax a little.

of the set, 3/4 are the best, but Tinstafl expresses my thoughts exactly.

Also, I think with her colouring other bg colours might have been effective to enhance her gorgeous skintone thumb.gif

    Thanks everyone. thumb.gif

We've gotta cut her some slack though. This was her first shoot in 4 years and first as an adult. She'll be back.

    Hey Mister!:

The biggest negative I have with these is the background and set (or lack thereof).
Not only does it not bring anything to the table with the images and poses, in some, it is an annoyance, at least to me.

It looks like, "Hey lets try out some new colored gels on this white paper roll background I have."

I know you can do better!!!!

The gels don't bother me as much as the excessive depth of field does. You can see every wrinkle, dimple, and scratch on the background paper. I think that shooting wider and having the model step forward a couple of steps would be a drastic improvement on the background.

    Appreciate your restraint Alex.

Funny thing is, on two other sites these are hugely popular. Other times, stuff loved on here gets absolutely trashed there.
I never even try to figure it out. I just listen.
