Took 6 actually, but the composition etc were way out on 5, but one was a bit better, i.e. this one...
Mind you the reason I only took six photos cos it was perishingly cold, windy and if I didn't mention it a second ago, perishingly cold!
So after 6 photos, I jumped back in the car and came home!
Anyway, the one I did a bit better with is below - a photo of the marina at Preston. There is a bit of lens flare on the left - I didn't take the hood but don;t know if that would have made any difference - I fancy it wouldn't have.
WDYT?

I dunno, I thought you lot up north were supposed to tough, hardy types - compared with softies like us E. midlanders
... and there I was, out in the recent cold snaps, frozen over lakes, trying to get pics with snow in frame of boring 'ol birds ... ahhhhh ...
... and I have to ride home on a bike, not in a heated tin box
btw - if the non is version - nice bit of kit, have one myself - you should enjoy using it.

Cheers for looking - I have to get used to the new kit, and yes, it's not the IS version.

The boats are actually in the dry dock area, many under repair, others just in storage. In the summer when it;s warmer, I will like as not go back again and try to improve on this.
