Sub-Domain Blog?

I am not sure if this is the right place to ask this. :dunno

I have a domain that is directed to smugmug: www.charlesmcdonaldphotography.com

I want to create a sub-domain blog.charlesmcdonaldphotography.com that will be a wordpress blog.

Is there a way to keep the main domain pointing to smugmug while hosting a wordpress blog on a sub-domain?

If there is a way...How would I do this?

You sure can, that's how I have mine You just setup your wordpress blog, pay their fee and then point your sub-domain to yournickname.wordpress.com

Thanks for the response...by the time I got to this I had figured it out! Mine was alittle more complicated because I already had hosting for my wife's blog. In all it was still very easy.
