got out in the cold fog on sunday to capture a few subtle shots. it was very much the mood....the first one has a very subtle image of the barn in the back....

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

I love fog, just love it! Hard for me to meter, though. I think I like the third one best, they are all nice,

thanks, ginger. as for the meter, i have gotten so lazy since i got a digital camera, that i have forgotten most of what i used to know. i just shoot a million shots and let the camera do the work......and of course, there's always photoshop. i spend a large part of the day in that program at work, and then i go home and use it for fun......

the digital camera and computers have definitely gotten back my interest in photography. i just don't always know what to do with it. i have many, many photos of barns and horses, and don't know how to get exposure (pun intended) for my work. perhaps this forum, and smugmug will help me. i sell some stuff in the local book store and history museum, but not on a regular basis. has anyone else worked with the pre-printed items you can get at photographersedge.com? they make cards that you can simply mount your photos in......

wish i had more time to wander through this site..........darn, working for a living really gets in the way.

Laurie these are great, and I love tha horses but esp. the little chunky one. Do you use them in harness at all, that one looks like it would pull a sled or firewood, if so do you have any photos - if not, well - more photos anyway.

thanks. he is a norwegian fjord and lots of them are used for pulling carts and even farm equipment. he, however, never learned...too bad, i could put him to work pulling the manure spreader. he is quite the clown.

the blanketed one we donated about a year and a half ago to a bible camp for kids. we took him back when we found out he was close to starvation. if i posted the pix i took when he came back to us, you would cry. he looks 100% better, but i still keep him covered because he doesn't have the coat the chubby one has.

i can post more....just wanted to get some started and see how you guys like 'em.
