The rainshoot @ 1 degree centigrade

It's cold where i live, and yet Karolien insisted on a rainshoot :scratch. I constructed a little puddle in the barn, nothing more then a 3 by 3 meter plastic sheet over 2x4 wood for the edges. Ice cold water in it.
In the back a black curtain, the rain comes from a traditional law water sweeper.
One degree centigrade ambient temperature. So we planned each shot in advance. The models steps into the water, I shoot one or two shots and out she goes. Feet in a bucket with hot water and a bathrobe until the next pose. The monoblocks are Prio-lite on battery for safety purposes. This was difficult, since there is no time for pose corrections, it has to go real fast otherwise I would end up with a blue model.

Apparently Belgian girls are much tougher than the most of the models I've worked with. Nice work.

rolleyes1.gif really, Maybe because I take care of them as they were my own daughters. It's funny what you can make them do. It's all about trust . Most of them call me dad (for fun) since I can very well be the Dad (age wise) and the way I work. Long chats before the shoot, joking, having fun, praise them, listen to them and somehow they see me as the father figure. Well almost all them.... not the spoiled onces
