One of the prime attractions for us in setting up a smugmug site is the touted level of identity branding available through the various customizations offered. Then I came across "We always display the words 'Photo hosting by SmugMug' and 'Portions © SmugMug, Inc.'" in a response to one of the FAQs.
This could be a deal breaker right off, if we simply become identified as a member/user of a marketing service. Is there no way your corporate advertising can be removed or covered over in our site construction?
Thanks for your input and clarification on this.

You cannot remove the footer from your SmugMug sit, but you can choose the "Mini Footer" option in the Easy Customizer. You can find more information about the mini footer in this news post.

Thank you for the reply, Michael. but the news post about mini footers that you cited doesn't address branding. We are concerned that our site carries our brand exclusively and not those of other companies, such as AT&T, FedEx, or SmugMug. Is this possible?
