Savick House, Preston - a mystery so far...

First image using the 17-40L lens on the 5D Mk2....

This is Savick House in Preston on the banks of the Preston to Lancaster canal. It will look much better come summer, trust me, lol...

Odd thing though, is that I can find no history about on the web, anywhere. I have googled it and found nothing to describe why it is named so prominently, nor it's purpose. I think I did spot a flag blowing in the wind which I think had the Preston Borough motif on it, so it may belong to the city council, and possibly is occupied by someone connected with the canal maintenance department... I will have to try and find out more. For now, it remains a mystery...
