So a few weekends ago one of my younger brother came up to visit from Virginia where he is currently residing while in the NAVY. He came up to hang out w/ family before he left on deployment. He asked to snap some pics of him and his son so he can take w/ him since he will be gone for some time. Heres some from the set I did w/ him just having some fun, I didn't really have a strategy or plan behind this except to just capture something cool between father and son. As always C&C is always welcomed.

    Hi Gaby,

Those are really nice portraits, very sharp and great colors.

Just #3 I don;t like the way you cropped your brothers hand and I think is too much space over their heads.

    Thank you for posting.

This was something that bothered me also... The arm was not cropped in post. That was the last shot before my nephew just lost total interest and wanted no more... even bribed him w/ a cookie to take it over. It wasn't happening.

Yeah I still have a lot to learn but I just picked up a sekonic l358 and am curious to see the difference on photos from here on out. No more guessing and chimping as they say. I know stuff can be fixed in post but if i start w/ a properly exposed photo... it may just have a different final outcome.

He's a proud dad and really enjoyed these. Although very minimal editing was done compared to others I have taken, to him they where perfect.
