server crawl errors??

Hi all, I'm not savvy enough in the world of www to know if this is a SmugMug issue or something wrong with my site specifically, but I just got an email from google's webmaster tools indicating an increase in server errors on my site. Here is the body of the email:

http://www.manifestphoto.com/: Increase in server errors

Google detected a significant increase in the number of URLs we could not access. It is likely that your server had an internal error or was busy when attempting to process these requests.

Recommended action

• Check the Crawl Errors page in Webmaster Tools.
• Check your scripts and script permissions.
• Examine the log files on the server for your site for scripts or pages that might be crashing.
• Consider addressing the load on your server.

When I visit the linked "Crawl Errors" page it shows a graph of errors going back a couple of months, flat at zero for months, then suddenly spiking up around 3/30/13 and increasing every day since then. I'm getting more than 400 errors a day now!


I didn't make any changes to my account other than uploading some photos and things, and I checked my settings to make sure the site is still set to be discoverable by google. Does anyone know what's going on or what I should do about it?

Crawl errors
Mine went through the roof on March 29 also. From 0 to 1300 and I just got another report.
