I hadn't been up to the Grand Canyon in several years and with weather looking promising I decided to make a quick overnight trip last night. Four hour drive each way, slept in the car, and managed to get a few shots.

#1 has some really sweet light, but #2 truly stunning.

Looks like a trip that was well worth the effort. Nice work, Aaron!

Thank you very much. I've learned that in order to get decent shots you really have to plan, research, and then chase weather.

Thanks Schniks. Always nice to have a few different shots register with different people.

Larry- North Rim in June should be nice. There should be clouds and if you are in late June the monsoon season will be near and you could end up with some great conditions. LOTS of stuff to shoot in that area depending on how much time you have.

Thanks Chris. Yes the trip was worth the effort. These one nighters I have done lately have proved to be successful.
