First couple attempts at some car photography. Buddy has a car that he's more than happy to let me practice with (surprise surprise, right) C & C always welcome.
First a disclaimer, I'm not a car photographer. I like the first one, nice light great brick wall, I am a bit distracted by the light in the background.
The second one doesn't work for me the lamp is too bright, the car underexposed and the flare needs to be controlled.
Your first problem is the car is not the same color in both photos. You need to correct for that in post processing.
First shot, the brick wall is fine but would be better if that was all the background was. Whatever is behind the rear-third of the car is just distraction. Second shot, that light needs to go, and not fond of the trees behind it.
