I Got One!
The bird fish/eating/flipping shot (s). I have all these shots of the bird and this fish, and another fish, too (catching, flipping it, keeping it in his mouth. no cleaning of the fish that I saw, but plenty of the rest of the routine). But I am too tired to work them all up. Really.
Here is one as a Carolina Birds poster:
That is a fish, a real detailed, whole fish! Exciting!

I want you all to know that I read each comment in intervals between working things up yesterday and when I got up this morning.
It has been hectic here, I found out that my 4 yr old dog has dysplasia yesterday, I have not been normal since. Kind of escaped into photography. Used my photoshop so much that it is not acting right, ran out of hard drive space. Made many errors, .
And checked in here visually, frequently. I just couldn't write more than I did. Just couldn't.
So I am telling you all now how much I appreciated your comments. The fact that you all, individually, stopped to see my photo and then commented, well, it meant/means a lot to me.
Thank you very much,
ginger
This photo and the others I put up tonight, they were taken yesterday morning with an ISO of 200......... made a difference. I think the f stop was about f 8 most of the time on Wed. This shot.
I tend to put a lens on and work with it. And if it is birds I am after I focus so hard on the birds that I don't even think about changing lenses, smile.
Don't tell anyone, but I got a Kingfisher, too. I worked him up but haven't posted him. No wonder I never see them, they are tiny little things.

I am going to look seriously after Christmas.
I would not think to find one with a catch of any kind. In fact, I have been amazed to see any of these birds with food, I am never so blessed by the many gods..........and goddesses.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
to ginger. lol.
