Exercising a little interpretive dancing on the sliders, you can take something like this....
and conjure up something like these.

I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

I guess I'm gonna have to post one just to prolong the feast!
Cheers, Richard.
What's for desert!

Well, I finished off the corn. Love those veggies.

Thanks, Richard.
I seldom show the " donor " subject ( in this case, an old rusted car ) when I post these abstract shots. I thought it might help to show some folks what the real potential can be for taking a shot of rust and transforming the image into something wholly unexpected. We have more room in our little JUNKIE group for others who might like to try their hand at this game.
See ya,
Tom
Funny you ask, Don. I'm working up a triple course desert. I think you'll like it.

Thanks much, my friend. I hope you'll like the final few I'll post in this current series.

Thanks for the kind words, Michael.
It's the thrill of seeing just what the " silver linings " turn out to be that keeps us JUNKIES on the hunt.
Take care,
Tom
Thanks for looking in, Josh.
Man, that first shot had 23 ergs of warming thrown at it and 9 lbs. of contrast sprinkled around. I was afraid to get any more aggressive. I have a new monitor and I didn't want it to get scared of me and run off.

Mighty fine comments, Lauren. Thanks for your support.
I've passed by these old rusted-out cars ( there are six of them in a row ) for years. Heading home from the mountains a couple of weeks back, I finally decided to pull over and see what they really had to offer. Gracious....they turned out to be probably the greatest find ever for me.
I hope you're doing well,
Tom
