Doing the annual trade show trek to Vegas, staying in Summerlin near Red Rock and Thursday morning the conditions were good so I took the scenic loop before going to work. Yuccas and Joshua Trees are blooming heavily in the area and south in the Mohave National Monument. DId not have the time to get arouns to everywhere I wanted to go. Winds earlier in the week did not help either.

Three very beautiful shots, Chris. #1 is the strongest composition for me, followed by #2. Terrific colors. As a minor nit on the last one, I'd like to see either more or less of power pole crossbar which appears to be sitting on the roof. And of course this one is begging for a dramatic sky like the first two. Neat place.

Thanks Joel I should have put in the disclaimer that the last one is showing the flowering Joshua Tree than a well crafted shot. The yuccas and Joshua trees in the Mohave Preserve are blooming rather heavily right now.
I wish I would have spent more time at that location but were heading south to meet up with my daughter.

I like the second the most. That's a very hard area to work with, and you've something nice out of it.
    Anybody can do it.
