Spring!

The weather was beautiful this past weekend in Atlanta, so we decided on a small picnic at the local park. We were sitting near the train tracks and there were splotches of sunlight beaming through the scattered trees, and I tried to use it the best I could!

I took a flash, but left it in the car :cry, I reckon it would've been great for that much-needed fill. So, I processed it in PS for simple color/exposure corrections and a few brush strokes to brighten her face.

I didn't much like lugging my 70-200, but I can see why so many people are ecstatic about it.

All C&C are welcome! (maybe a bit more saturation?)
I have a few more from this set, but didn't get around to em yet!

Like the second shot more than the first. I'd try a tweak of the curves to get the blacks a bit blacker.

OH... and this a whine free zone. No whining about lugging gear around. Go do some squats or something. rolleyes1.gif

Ditto on Alex's comment on the blacks. Love the converging lines of the tracks and trees. Cool shot but needs a little tweeking.

    I'll get on it!

PS. I'm working on the squats! My legs are spaghetti-ed from yesterday, actually! Squats = testosterone = man. ne_nau.gifrofl

The 2nd one and the reprocessed one does look better. It could be my lousy laptop monitor but her face/eyes look soft to me.
