Invisible to Google Image Search?

Hello,

I think I must be doing something wrong regarding Google image search. Please note I'm specifying image search, not regular search.

For example, when I Google "glacier national park 2012 volumetric lighting" my picture comes up #1 in the regular search rankings

But when I switch over to Google Image search, I get nothing.

Do I need to do something special to make my images visible in image search? I've read that I need to use the ALT field, but I've also read elsewhere on this forum that Smugmug supposedly takes care of that automatically.

Any advice?

Thanks!

Google seems to be more selective about what gets added to image search. So you'll need to work on your search engine ranking following the suggestions here and here.
Starting a blog where you feature some of your content and getting other relevant pages to feature and link back to your content is always a good idea to get more links to your site.
