AZ Blooming Desert

Some more Cactus Blooms!
This is the Argentine Giant Cactus. Its really not that big though. They must have small Cacti there...
I saw this cactus in full bloom on my way home from work last Friday and had to stop on Saturday morning and get some photos.
These blooms last for about 1-2 days max and it was in full bloom.
We drove by it on Sunday and all the blooms were withered and gone.

Thx Joel, After a wonderful Poppy bloom last month, The desert is about to explode with Cactus color.

Thx WernerG, There was lots o red. It's always a battle to find decent composition. I tried to capture one that exaggerates the red petals.
