Here is what I think may be the final edit to the film noir pic I shared and a few more. Kind of a story line but not exactly. I'm happy with the results but it's also given me some ideas that I'd like to try out, mostly around a story board of images. I'm going to see if this couple is willing to go shoot with me again. This time as a personal project and I will give them the photos in exchange for their time.

Thanks guys. I really enjoyed shooting these. Very different than anything I've done before and am looking forward to trying more similar stuff.

Probably just me but I'm not a huge fan of subjects that look like they are only interested in the camera. The girl is focused on the camera and looks like she knows it is there and is posing for it instead of staying in character. Comes across to me as the subject being very vain.

I'm guessing they were doing as was directed as they are both looking at the camera in the second and last shot. I don't see it as vain, but I guess it could be considered out of character if you were trying to portray a certain story line. But as far as practicing a certain look, lighting, etc. it's a good attempt.
