Very pretty set, Shawn. I'm surprised this didn't get more love. Maybe try posting them a little larger next time? ne_nau.gif

    Thanks Joel,
I thought with the lack of "love", I was reading more into the images than was really there.

The first and last are the strongest for me, the last especially. The colors in the second seem blown by the strong sun.

The technicals are fine, and they are pretty - especially #1, but for me, the compositions are unremarkable - mostly because of what is not there.
I have a strong belief that landscape compositions are almost always better presented in landscape orientation - portrait often seems cramped or truncated.
I'm feeling lots of love for the location tho...thumb.gif

Hey Earache, thanx for the response, I appreciate your CC. I agree, they are kinda unremarkable, but I liked them and wanted to share. They are vacation shots, very little planning. I was just really glad I was somewhere, at the right time, that displayed such beautiful colors and was trying to grab some color while I was there. I find it difficult to compose such tall subjects and eliminate the even more un-remarkable stuff unwanted to the sides without going portrait.
Great locations. Love the AZ mountains.
