    I would have liked to see a sharper DOF.

    Hmm...the DOF isn't a problem for me, but unless this is part of a series I think it needs a little more context. The flag at half-staff tells us that something bad has happened (Boston bombing?), but it isn't at all clear what sort of event we're viewing. I'm also a little curious about the flag on the left, which I don't recognize.
