Beginner at Tabletop Photography
Crafter

I am pretty much a beginner in photography. The extent of my training was a introduction to photography in college (which was a while ago). I am really a crafter at heart and am trying to start selling some of the things I make.
So I have been reading up on tabletop photography. The items I'll be photographing are relatively small. No larger than maybe 10" x 10" x 10". Since I am new at this and I am not sure if this venture is going to work out I don't want to spend a lot of money. At the same time I don't want to buy something cheap that won't last in case it does work out. I suspected that if it does work out I wouldt upgrade my equipment, but I don't want to have to upgrade immediately.
I have been trying to find reviews on the various kits you can buy but they are mixed. One that most people recommend is a kit by Mystudio, but I don't like the idea of one light. Any suggestions on kits?
