Shot outdoor, 32 Deg and occasional snow flurries.

1.

Does the handbag distract from the subjects face too much in this shot?

2.

Does the window in the background behind her arm kill this?

3.

Too much eye work?

4.

Can't really find much to nit pick with this. Can you?

Thanks!

    In my non proffesional opinion...

#1 The bag does grab some attention.
#2 The window doesn't bother me or scream bad placement.
#3 The eyes are what catches my attention which is what im assuming your goal was, and if so thats a plus.
#4 I actually like the angle of the sidwalk design. It can allow you to rotate the picture in various angles w/out restraint if that makes sense.

    Bryce,

1: The bag doesn't add much to the image. Maybe over her shoulder??
2: I flat love this image except maybe a tad more contrast for "pop". Maybe not.
    3: Looks fine to me.
4: LOVE this one, especially the POV.

Sorry I don't have more to rip you up about. Laughing.gif

I agree with everything here ^ but I would a bit more in terms of contrast to 1, 2, and 4. I would just add a multiply or soft light layer and mask what you dont want it to apply to and tone it down with opacity. I would also add a pinch of warmth to 1, 2, and 4. These are great shots though!

Thanks Qarik. I think you may of hit on what was bothering me more than the bag. She does look uncomfortable there doesn't she.
