file too large?

I just tried to upload a .jpg to my site that is 60MB using the web interface and got an error that said "File too large."
Any ideas?

according to the help page at http://help.smugmug.com/customer/portal/articles/93278-what-types-of-files-can-i-upload-to-smugmug- the largest file allowed is 50 megabytes and 100 megapixels.
