Really nice, particularly the first one.

For what it's worth, birds and lizards are less closely related than are birds and dinosaurs. Here's a little chart:



You can see that lizards split from the main line well before it developed into dinosaurs and ultimately lizards. There is a lot of information about how dinosaurs developed into birds and which ones did and which did not. It has to do with their hips.

Thanks everyone. I appreciate your comments. I wasn't actually trying to make factual information about these creatures. It was more poking fun at my "usual" bird postings. Figured everyone was starting to wonder if I shot anything but birds. Interesting info on the birds/dinos/lizards evolutionary journey. Ben...LMFAOROF. You have been smoking that pineapple again..eh?

I'm glad to see that I'm not the only biology geek among all you photographers. That was the 1st thing to cross my mind too
