Richard, that is quite the illusion these guys are putting on!

You find the most interesting things Richard. I like the side stage angle you took up and the timing used for sweeper to fit in. All the more interesting. I can imagine how they are doing this but I love the making of the impossible look possible ... just like that. Easy as pie. Well done Now I have 2 shots to keep an eye out for. Maybe Portland will have something when I go visit soon. Your tug pushed me to street photography once before when there... and for here :D:D
Great trick. Too bad about the guy with the broom. :cry

Well, dunno. It was easy enough to get a shot of just the street performers, but I waited till the sweeper was in position. I had been hoping he would sweep directly under the guy on top, but it didn't happen.
Thanks, Michael. I got started in photography because I wanted to send pics to friends of the neat stuff I was seeing when I moved to Madrid. The show never stops.
As for the illusion, there's really only one explanation. They are careful to cover themselves with a huge tarp when they are setting up, so I haven't been able to see how they put it together. It's one of the cooler street acts I've seen lately.

Entertaining illusion (unless it's real )

Thanks. Magic is certainly the simplest explanation.
