Miranda do Douro

Miranda is located on the banks of the Douro River, Portugal from Spain is accessed at the border crossing opens on Miranda Dam, one of the dams that cut the river along the border. The characteristic landscape of the site is formed by high granite walls encasing the water course in its international section.
