Hi everyone. I have an issue with my LR in the folder window pane on the left of the library module. I can't see my folder names and can't scroll either.

This morning I had just the folders listed, and how its gone into a hierarchy mode. See the screenshot/attachment. Tips would be welcomed.

Thanks,
Karl

Try hovering your mouse between the right hand edge of the folder list (dark grey bar) and the photo thumbnails, and you will get a double-headed arrow that will allow you to stretch the list longer to see folder names.

You can't scroll because there isn't anything to scroll. Expand one of the above folders and it will allow scroll.

I'm trying to scroll left/right not vertical. This morning those last 4 folders that you can barely see the beginning of their names were the only things in the list. There wasn't a hierarchy..

Or is there a way to choose the top level folder in this panel?

1 drag the right-side edge of the panel to the right to make it wider , this reveals the hidden parts

2 click the + behind Folders , and select ; show photos in sub-folders , now you can see content op toplevel
