Dgrin 128: Sunrise or Sunset

Absolutely no time to take photos of sunsets (or sunrises) between our trip to Korea, flooding basement, etc. But I raced to catch the end of a spectacular sunset on Saturday - the one night I was free. Wish I had time to grab a tripod and get there earlier as Mother Nature put on a quite a show! Any thoughts on these?

What a catch for just one night out for it!

I prefer the first one. The trees bring depth to the picture.
Maybe you can try cropping it more panoramic to have less black.
