Garden ants

I only see three ant species in the garden- all rather small. Black ants- Lasius niger, red ants- Myrmica sp. and orange meadow ants- Lasius flavus. I only rarely see the meadow ants. Some pictures of red ants feeding on honey dew on cornflower buds still not sure if this is natural weeping or whether the ants damage the buds) and black ants feeding on honeydew on Euphorbia flowers.
The last shot is an old shot of a meadow ant (top) cleaning a red ant (Myrmica sp.)
