Hi I had this wish below for very, very long time, but I haven't expressed it, hoping that the problem will be considered and resolved... but it's still there.

Here it is: I have a lot of images on a lot of categories and subcategories, and often, I want move them to another category for a better organization.

Unfortunately the task of moving the images between categories is extremely difficult, having to scroll a huge list of galleries, trying to find the desired name.

Everybody know that it looks like this:

I'm wondering if this cannot be done as nicely as it is in the case of collecting photos from a category to another, which looks like this:

Thanks in advance,

    Hi Tatiana,

We are very aware of the limitations of moving photos to another gallery, and we are actively working on making this much easier.

    Thank you for your feedback!

    Thanks in advance,
A fairly simple way to get around this is open the "move from" and "move to" galleries in two browser
tabs. In the "move to" gallery temporary rename it by adding a "z" in front of the gallery name.

On the "move to gallery" page click the drop and type "z" on your keyboard. The drop list will jump to it.

After the move remove the "z" from the gallery name. Works great if you have multiple galleries with the same name.

Hello! Just wanted to see if this feature is available on the new smugmug?

Although I like the new L&F's of SmugMug, I cannot switch because I'm another fan of the daily community and I don't want to lose it... :(
    - I'm wondering why the SmugMug admin had to sacrifice the communities? Please give them back to us!

I also noticed another inconvenience of the new "style": the posted comments on photos don't let you have a link to your site!!!
In my opinion, this will reduce considerably the comments, because everybody wants to have the opportunity to eventually get a click back.

I agree completely! If we lose the daily community, I doubt that I would remain with smugmug. I thought about leaving when they dramatically raised the prices but decided to stay because of the daily community. Without that, I'll be looking for another place to host my photos.
