R1 - early evening portrait

Took this pic of my son outside in our hometown .
It was getting a bit dark allready so I shot this at 400 ISO.

    Nice color and textures...you can almost feel his clothes...nice ruddy cheeks.

    I'd really have like the composition less centered, though :)

    I really like the first one. I can't quite explain why, but it really seems to catch him at a key moment.

    I like the first image the best also. Nice soft pastel skin tones, with more saturated blue of his shirt. Very nice, at ISO 400.

    The R1 shares it's sensor with the Nikon D2x, and it shows .
