Original Size Won't Display

I will apologize up front because I have to be missing something stupid, but my original size images won't display. The largest is XL that displays. I do have the Gallery Setting at Original and I have more than enough resolution on the monitor to handle the original so I'm stuck. The only CSS I've added to the site is from the tutorial on creating a separate front page for slideshow and gallery.

    Folks that could help would need a link to a sample gallery that is set to allow originals in order to take a look.

    What size are the originals? Perhaps they are only as big as the XL size.

    Sorry, I should have known better. Pittsburgh
    Sizes are over 4300 on long size

    No, what I see when I choose original is only the XL size.

    I got my answer, thank you all. Didn't realize you had to force it via the light box. I am glad I declared it was dumb up front.
