    How lovely - we only have grey squirrels here.

    On my screen they're looking a little too yellow though and some of the shots seem a little soft. Maybe a little more sharpening?

    Thanks Gemma I will certainly try that. We try not to let the greys mix with the reds as the greys carry a disease which kills the reds.

    They sure are different from the Pennsylvania red's we have here as you can see. Ours have hardly any tufts of hair on the tips of their ears.

    I agree they are different. Ours don't all have tufts. I was told its only the males that have tufts:)

    There's little difference in appearance between male and female red squirrels in Britain, but only the adults have ear tufts and they're moulted once a year.
