after the rain

it was raining yesterday on my way home, but by the time i got to the house, it had stopped, and the sun was sorta peeking through the clouds. i grabbed my camera and went across the street for a shot at some iris that are blooming there... i'm really liking what the 7D does with the 100-400 lens - it's proving to be a fabulous combo for flower photos! i'm thinking of making some 12x12 prints, and framing them up in a flower collection...

    Wow!!! Awesome photo. Looks like your set up is a real good combo. The 7D is the next camera purchase on my list of 'wants'.
