there's a house about half a mile from my place that has a bazillion of these gorgeous lilies blooming all along the street edges of the yard... i'd noticed 'em the other day, and made a note to get back there for some pics... 7D, 100-400 @ 285mm, 1/3200 @ f/5.6.

    Gorgeous light - beautifully soft.
    Really like your composition here - leading lines are great.
    Wonderful background.
    I just get a sense of calmness as I look at this image - nice work.
