reflections is a hard challenge!!!! i ciaught my daughter tonite ( her birthday ) putting on lipstick in her room.... i t was a candid shot so not much time to prepare or "stage" the shot, as a consequence its not as perfect as i'd like it to be......
should I "stage" the shoot and do a retake???

gosh that brings back memories of one of my daughters.

Happy birthday to your daughter. I have tried to take those mirror shots forever with my kids. Yours is closer to a really good one than mine were (probably equipment and digital make a difference from just conventional developing which I was using during those years in the 80s).

I too like the candid feel. Good shot, doze.

I agree, I think this photo is great just the way it is. Wonderful candid.

I like candid shots like this.
While it works quite well the way it is, how about trying a square crop? Loosing the right edge would help emphasize the main subject, your daughter.
    Happy Birthday to her!
