Raptor Rapture

I Love Birds of Prey, and whilst I'd love to capture them in the wild, I don't have time at the moment to do that so I have to rely on shows for my fix. What that does, though, is give great opportunity for portraiture...here's a few of my BoP portraits from a couple of days out with the kids this weekend...

    Nice shots. The great thing about captive raptors is that you don't need a 10K lens to get tight shots like these. Thanks for sharing, very cool. 3,4, and 5, are my favorites.

    Thank you. And yes, it is a good thing when they are kept right, as these are. Shame not all display birds are kept so well.
