Nice shot. I like the contrasts.

By the look on his face, I'm sensing more "Lover's quarrel" than "Dreaming".

It's underexposed, it looks a tad soft, too many shadows, and the hand hearts are cliched. For my tastes, a photographer should capture their love. The heart thingy kind of announces it and looks forced. Use body language.

Her head closer to his shoulder, his arm wrapped around her, or them holding hands etc.

okay I appreciate the idea of the shot but here are my issues with it:

    1) find some shade..the direct sunlight is just too harsh
    2) open up that aperture so you get her in focus and him blurred out.
    3) position the guy in such way so that his arm is not growing out of her head and her shoulder is not "touching" his waist..also push him back more..there simply is not enough physical separation between them.

find complete shade for your couple. "speckled" light is just not good. find a clean background as well. also the horizen is tilted as well.

Merged the threads since they all have the same theme/subjects. Hope you don't mind.

Sorry but I have to agree with Qarik here. They seem flat, OOF, poorly lit, and kind of lackluster in the composition/idea. What are you shooing with? What are you using for post processing?

Canon 20D, Canon 85mm Prime, Photoshop. I have to say due to timing I had to shoot these around noon. I knew that wasn't ideal but I had no choice. The sun was super bright.

Well I would say with the time of day you are going to have problems with the sun. You could look for some open shade areas to help fix that. If it were me doing the PP I would be adjusting the WB and popping the saturation. What were the specs of this shot? I dont have an exif reader.
