Before someone say's, "looks like a 50's yearbook shot."

That was kinda the idea.

Someone brought up classic lighting and posing the other day and it reminded my of this session I did last fall.

Another Classic that I like.

Bryce, there is NOTHING wrong with a good solid portrait, especially when as well-executed as in your hands! thumb.gif It's not "my" style, but I know there are plenty of people out there who are sick to death of lifestyle/trendy/funky processing etc that's grown from the digital age. There's always a place for "classic"

    Beautiful work, as always :)

I hope it is NOT because I'm an older guy but the current trend of life style photography does nothing for me. I pride myself on always wanting to learn new things and I have no problem asking someone "how did you do that". With that said the second one just grabs the heck out of me. That is a shot I would want of my child not one coming out of a rose bud or cabbage head aka Anne Geedes.
