Rained Yesterday
So I went and Machine Gunned a few birdies anyway
1st from my backyard little bird (sparrow I guess :dunno)
not from my backyard, but one of Harry's favorite bird :lol
Goose in golf course. Wonder what his handicap is ??
KF in flight. However still the most evil bird I know :wxwax
All shots except for KF, done with SB800 in G/N mode + Better Beamer
still very raw at this flash thingy, Oh heck still raw at just about everything :lol4

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
Morning Harry and thanks
Well you know it will do nicely till I can get a real 500mm :wow
I think mainly it works OK thanks to the Hs body and Cam2000.
AF slows but still workable even in so so light.
My yield has dropped of course, but the extra reach is so welcome in this type of shooting.
I also have to use a little USM on most shots, where without 1.7 I only used
RR's presets in NC.
I also think that using the SB800 makes more shots keepers with the 1.7 on board (fill light mainly), but the jury still out here.
