    Not bad but the lighting is a bit harsh for my taste and the background blotches are a bit distracting

    Thanks very much for the constructive criticism. :)

    I did wonder about the light myself - iirc I used flash to try and help isolate the flower, but probably should have diffused it.

    Back to the drawing board with this one, I think.
