I found out on the Bahamas cruise that generic fashion/swimsuit shoots are beginning to bore me. Sometimes I feel like I haven't done 150 shoots, I've done one shoot 150 times. After the winter in the studio and shooting the start of the BilCyn World Tour with Cyndi I find concepts much more fun.

Every fairy tale has a cottage in the woods inhabited by a wicked witch or something. This is Anylza, Cyndi's and my MUA/stylist/art director for the World Tour. A former child model, she doesn't do a bad job in front of the camera either.

With the concept shoots, here's an idea I throw for whatever it may (or may not) be worth: how would it work WITHOUT captions? Ok, so maybe a set title to ensure the viewer is in the right groove, but perhaps build in to your shoots the idea that you have to convey the moods and "scene" WITHOUT any words. Don't tell us.... show us :D Could be an interesting exercise thumb.gif

I took Diva's suggestion immediately. Anyone else commenting, you're on your own.
