Jumping spider

Here is a little jumping spider, not very big, perhaps 6mm or 7mm in size. Here, she was on the side of the garden bench, so the image is cropped and rotated for the photo.

I was trying to take a picture of one of these myself, but the spider kept jumping.. and so did I!

They are skittish - but in time, you'll find they do stop jumping and running around for a few seconds - and that's when WE pounce! :ivar
