Hello Dolly... and the regulars plus a disappointing missed shot.

Well, maybe not Dolly... but a Doli Fly



SO GUTTED I missed this. I tracked this beautiful vibrant male Ichneumon wasp around the garden for about 5 or 6 minutes watching it flit from bush to bush, plant to plant. After the 5 or 6 minutes, it finally settled. I crept up and went for the shot. JUST tooo late . It flew over the fence and didn't venture back.



Onto the regulars I mentioned... first one a rather nice array of colour

Hehe, they fly quite slowly don't they... just never stopping and if so for the shortest periods of time.
