Hi Everybody,

I am a studio photographer and I am looking for a way to have my background extra white.

Most of the time I get yellow/grey and not snow white.

Check gallery example:

Your help is appreciated.

Thanks,

You need to have as much light on your bkg as you do on your subject. You literally have to light your bkg.

I eter my background to be 2 stops over my subject. You also have to make sure it is even. Also, do not put your subject too close or it will wrap around them. You cna shoot on white paper or white background or even grey but you will need to push more light. As to the floor if you want the reflection I have used bead board and then flag off the background lights and push the board back far enough to have the edge blow out.
