secret is same as i do w macro
i sit down ( on a chair in this case ) and rest my elbows on my knees , or , when possible , rest my hands or the camera itself onto something solid

I spent three years in Germany in the service. Some really great old castle's, church's ect there. The best one I saw was the church in Worms where martin Luther got excommunicated. Unbelievable. Things like these are all over Europe. I have to say seeing as the OP is from Holland. We made a trip up to the tulip festiable one year. Holland is the cleanest country I've ever seen! hands down the cleanest.
